SOME OF MY CARTOONS, SPIN CHAIN SPOOFS, WHICH HAVE BEEN SEEN ON THE FRONT AND BACK COVERS OF THE AMERICAN SQUARE DANCE MAGAZINE SINCE SEPT. OF 1986 http://www.storytrax.com/node/532
The Old Red Barn Square Dance written and read by Cory Geis, music by Jack Servello
When Cory travels to different Square Dance Clubs, they have a 'baseball' themed night for him. It's a lot of fun, there's peanuts, crackerjacks, popcorn and sunflower seeds. Dancers dress up in their favorite ball team's colors and wear caps. Guys have brought in their scrapbooks full of baseball cards, Cory gives prizes out for baseball trivia and if there's a piano in the hall, get ready to do the 7th inning stretch.
HAVING A FUNCTION THAT NEEDS A GREAT ICE-BREAKER? HOW ABOUT A SQUARE DANCE? One of the coolest things I've ever had the pleasure and honor of doing in my calling career is record the singing call PLAYIN' WITH MY FRIENDS with some of the headliners in our activity. From left to right ( Cory Geis, Tom Miller, Tim Crawford, Tim Marriner, Cory again, and Bill Harrison.
